Backgrounds

Backgrounds provide a sort of vibe for what your character started out as and what they rely on in life. They shouldn’t be thought of as classes.

Humans are compatible with all of the backgrounds while the other kindreds have a more limited selection. All kindreds are compatible with the Adventurer background, which is an easier background to get started with.
