Woodgrue

woodgrue

Woodgrues are small bat-faced goblin-like creatures, with their origins in Faerie. Generations in the mortal world have made them mortal, though their faerie origins manifest in different ways.

  • Attacks against you using cold iron are enhanced.
  • You are shorter than the average human.
  • You have moon sight, which allows you to see in darkness as if in dim moonlight. Fine detail like writing cannot be perceived.

What instrument was passed down to you and what charming effect does it have on mortals?

  1. Oboe. Eat and drink everything in sight.
  2. Bassoon (bulky). Dance uncontrollably.
  3. Flute. Become unable to speak language.
  4. Clarinet. Laugh uncontrollably.
  5. Piccolo. Weep uncontrollably.
  6. Ocarina. Become drowsy.

The charming effect only happens

  • Once per day
  • While you are dancing (reducing you to zero guard since you are no longer on guard)
  • While you maintain the song
  • So long as you are not damaged or fail any saves
  • If the targets fail an initial CTRL save
